Dear Liturgical Minister,

     Greetings to you, as we begin the school year and prepare for fall activities and programs!  Our new schedule runs from September 1st through November 25th.  

     The new liturgical year will start with our next schedule on the 1st Sunday of Advent (December 2) and we will move to the next cycle of lectionary readings, “Year C”.  For Lectors, the 2019 Workbooks may be found in the “Server Sacristy”, beginning in September.  Please pick up your copy any time before December and mark your initials on the roster.

     Not noted on the schedule are the Labor Day and Thanksgiving Day Masses at 9 a.m., and All Saints Day on Thursday, November 1st (Vigil at 5 p.m.; Masses @ 6:45, 8:20 a.m. and 7 p.m.).   If you are available to serve at those liturgies, in any ministry, please contact me at

     For all Eucharistic Ministers after the Sign of Peace, please be sure to approach the Sanctuary on the side of the Church in which you are serving.  We are asked not to cross sides in the Sanctuary.

Eucharistic Ministers

Lay ministers assist in Communion distribution at our weekday and weekend Masses.  Training is provided, and you can choose at which Mass you would like help.

Ushers/Ministers of Hospitality

Ministers of Hospitality are those who present a welcoming response and inviting atmosphere to those who attend, and discern the needs of those who come for our Masses.  Ushers greet those as they enter our worship area and assist in their seating needs.  They are involved in the collection and distribution of Communion.

Altar Servers

All children in grades 6 through high school are trained to assist the presider at Mass and Funerals.  they serve in various ways within the Mass including carrying the cross, holding the Sacramentary, bringing the sacred vessels and ministering the wine and water for the priest.
