Hello! I am Jennifer Kauffmann and am excited to return to teach a second session of Religious Education. I taught First Grade students in the summer, and will now be with Second Graders this Fall. I am new to the Toledo area, having just moved at the beginning of July from a St. Joseph Parish and school in Martinsburg, West Virginia. There I assisted with Vacation Bible School for many summers, teaching Bible lessons and stories to children in grades Kindergarten through 5th. Last year I taught a seventh grade religion class. For many years I taught piano lessons to students of all ages (some of my earliest students are studying music in college now), as well as handbells and hand chimes to middle schoolers. I am now an aide in a First Grade classroom here at St. Joes, as well as an instructor for two new hand chime choirs in the St. Joseph Parish middle school. It is my pleasure to be working with Religious Education once more, and I look forward to meeting the second grade students on September 8!
