Religious Education
Welcome to Saint Joseph Parish Religious Education. We ask that each student parishioner at Saint Joseph Parish complete Religious Education from 1st to 8th grade. Students enrolled at Saint Joseph Parish School have this requirement fulfilled during the school year. Those enrolled at local public schools have two options to fulfill this requirement: Fall Religious Education or Summer Religious Education.
Registration for both can be found below.
Those in Sacramental years, 2nd grade for Reconciliation and First Holy Communion, and 8th grade for Confirmation, are asked to register for their respective Sacramental Preparation that begins in the Fall.

Summer Religious Education – June 9-20, 2025, Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m-12:00 p.m.

First Reconciliation & First Holy Communion Preparation
Student First Holy Communion and First Reconciliation at Saint Joseph Parish are for those who are in 2nd grade at Saint Joseph Parish School or in our Religious Education program. In preparing for the Sacrament, students will have a chance to learn about the Graces received as well as have a chance to deepen their individual faith. Students must complete their 1st and 2nd grade year religious education in one of the above two locations, as well as participate in the formation programs such as the kickoff, retreat, and various other events.
Register for First Communion Formation
First Communion Kick-Off – September 11, 2025 at 5:30 (Family Center). This event is informational and intended just for at least one parent or guardian of the elect and not the student.

Confirmation Preparation
Student Confirmation at Saint Joseph Parish is for those who are in 8th grade at Saint Joseph Parish School, at a local Catholic Academy, or in our Religious Education program. In preparing for the Sacrament, students will have a chance to learn about the Graces received as well as have a chance to deepen their individual faith. Students must complete their 7th and 8th grade year religious education in one of the above three locations, as well as participate in the formation programs such as the kickoff, retreat, service, and various other events.
Register for Confirmation Formation
Confirmation Kick-Off – September 4, 2025 at 5:30 (Family Center). This event is intended for both the Confirmand and at least one parent or guardian. Students will be given a few practical tips for the year ahead.
