As Catholics, we believe that Jesus Christ is truly present in the Eucharist. What appears to be bread is no longer so; in the Mass, God changes the bread into the Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity of Jesus.
A primary way to worship Jesus outside of the Mass is to adore Him exposed in a monstrance. In the silence of the Sacred Host, we kneel before the God who parted the Red Seas, the God who brought His people into freedom, the God who walked on water, the God who died on a cross. In the Eucharist, we adore our own Creator.
